This report will discuss and analyse the workings of a media company and their involvement with the legalities of ownership rights of dead celebrity imagery. By making relevant connections to both contemporary and academic resources, this report should provide an insight into the legal side of the media industry. This report will also take an insight into audience reaction/connection, based off of research I have completed myself.
Furthermore, this report aims to clarify the arguments of this contemporary issue, rationalising both sides of the debate to create a non-biased conclusion on whether the current legalities of celebrity ownership is right or not.
